True Strength Academy: Barbell Club is for advanced beginner to intermediate lifters. People who’ve completed TSA: Foundations or have lifting experience outside of my courses, who are ready to take on the next strength challenge—barbell training.
It’s for women who want to train harder, test their limits, and learn the big lifts properly.
No barbell experience or specific strength benchmarks are required. But basic knowledge of squat, push, pull, and deadlift is required.
This is not for absolute beginners.
Most important, though, you must have an eagerness (and curiosity) to learn and grow—not just physically.
TSA: Barbell Club meets Saturday, March 28-May 16, 2026
9:00-10:30 am NYC.
The goal of the course is to give you practical experience with barbell squat, bench & overhead press, pull, and deadlift.
The program is broken into two blocks to maximize learning and progress:
Weeks 1-4: Back Squat and Overhead Press
Weeks 5-8: Deadlift and Bench Press
Accessory work will round out each week’s efforts.
In addition to classwork, students will get a second day of programming to practice/train between sessions and access to my basics course via YouTube.
All classes are held at Practice Human Physical Therapy in midtown Manhattan
