You've spent years following fads and listening to "experts" and influencers tell you how to train: what's trending, what kind of body you should want now, what the best training protocol is for a bigger butt, a smaller butt, a yoga body, a bikini body. Yikes!
But nobody is talking about how to have YOUR body at its healthiest and strongest, on your terms, for the life you want to be living. Until now.
True Strength Academy: The Long Game is for midlife women who still have a ton of ambition, life, adventure, and creativity ahead of them who need a strong, healthy body to carry them on that wildly exciting journey of midlife and beyond.
You Should Join. REALLY!
Have these questions been keeping you from strength training?
How do I even start strength training?
What is strength training, actually? (I mean, WT actual F is it?)
What if I get hurt?
Will I get big and bulky? (No.)
Is the weight room a "bro space" where I'll get judged? (Please. Ugh.)
Well, it's time to start!
Strength training isn't a big scary secret. It's not the exclusive domain of people who spend hours in the gym toiling and sweating with a heavily loaded barbell in their hands. It's not dangerous — unless you do something silly — and it won't make you "bulky" unless you try really, really hard. (Also, what is "bulky?" and who actually cares?!)
Actually, strength training is for everyone at every stage in every type of body. It's a powerful tool for longevity and health. You just need to learn some skills; set clear, realistic goals; and get a little supervised practice. That's where True Strength Academy: The Long Game comes in.
What is True Strength Academy:
The Long Game?
TSA: The Long Game is a three month program designed to give you the practical tools, the exercise science foundations, and the mental skills and personal clarity you need to get in the gym and train on your terms, as an expert in your body.
You have a lot of life left. Let's build a body that can support that journey.
It starts with movements you already know!
Squat, hinge, push, pull, lunge, carry are everyday, functional movements you are already doing when you get up out of a chair, pick up a heavy laundry bag, or carry the groceries home.
And these safe, powerful, scalable movements are the foundation of The Long Game curriculum.
In class, plenty of time is spent practicing and drilling these foundations, and adapting them to your needs today. Then you'll head home with practice and training homework, so you get comfortable doing things on your own.
Getting your head together takes more than just time in the gym.
Every person's purpose for training is unique. Some folks have grandchildren to play with, some have a business to build, or literal mountains to climb. Getting clear about why you are training is key to keeping yourself focused and involved in training when life gets in the way.
To help you set your mindset and establish clear goals, TSA: The Long Game includes a self-paced mindset and goal setting program called The Strength Blueprint.
During the Strength Blueprint course you will:
Explore the beliefs and values shaping your fitness choices
Take an honest look at where you are now—physically, mentally, and emotionally
Create a bold vision for your future
Identify small habit shifts + big moves for lasting change
Set goals based on your vision and purpose–not on what the fitness influencers tell you to want
How is the Long Game different from another class or personal trainer?
Quite simply, more education, more autonomy, and a greater understanding of what you want at this stage of your life. Isn't it time to love your body because of what it does for you?!
The definition of success for Long Game graduates is that you feel skilled and practiced enough to leave and train on your own — that's the goal, not a failure to keep you around.
The benefit of working with Elizabeth in a group setting.
Group training is motivating and fun — you see other people succeed which inspires you to ask, "maybe I can do that too?"; you bond with people on the same journey. But you also get real solo work time while Elizabeth moves around the room coaching and teaching, which means you get the safety of guidance and the growth that comes from figuring it out on your own a little.
(And if you want to keep going after that, Training Lab is where TSA grads go to keep building with even more autonomy.)
Why Train with Elizabeth?
Elizabeth has been coaching for three decades, competed as a Masters Weightlifter (gold medal and all), holds a master's degree in exercise science from Columbia, and has spent the last several years focused specifically on women exactly like you. So you know you are in capable hands when you join the program.
Still wondering if you should register?
This course is for you if:
You're a midlife woman who wants to train for the life you actually want — not for the skinny pants hiding menacingly in the back of your closet
You're done treating exercise as punishment or prepayment — this isn't about earning or paying for anything, it's about building strength for the decades ahead
You want a body that works for you — strong, capable, resilient — on your terms, not anyone else's
You're ready to join a community of like-minded, supportive women — who also happen to kick ass
This isn't for you if:
You're looking for a slow-paced, elder-focused movement class — this is built for the pace of women still deep in the thick of it: careers, family, ambition, no plans to slow down
You're managing a significant injury, recent surgery, advanced joint disease, or another health issue that needs individualized attention rather than a group pace — that's a better fit for one-on-one work
You have issues with balance, or are unable to walk up stairs, carry groceries, or lift a pet or toddler
You want a personal trainer.
